(FAB) 58" Wide Flat and Banner

FAB is a polyester product designed for flags, banners and trade shows. It is printed at a resolution of 720 dpi. This product can be easily stitch-hemmed and grommeted. FAB is printed with bright direct dye sublimation inks onto polyester, for "show through" on the back side.

FAB has an expected outdoor durability of up to 18 months if prewashed.

CAUTION: Because this is a true fabric, it needs to be prewashed before being placed outside or in contact with any kind of moisture.

(SAV) Standard Adhesive Vinyl

SAV is a 3 mil calendared matte finish vinyl with a clear adhesive, printed at a resolution of 720 dpi. This product can be applied to any well-prepared smooth, flat, dry surface, and is perfect for most flat signage and decal applications.

SAV has an unlaminated outdoor durability of up to 2 years, but it has only moderate scratch resistance without lamination. Liquid lamination can be applied to SAV for less than $2 per lineal foot, which will add 'pop' to your colours, minimize surface scratching, and improve overall outdoor durability.

SAV can be contour cut by placing a specially named 'CUT' line in your file.

SAV is not recommended for the following applications:

(HPV) High Performance Vinyl

HPV is a 2mil cast gloss finish vinyl with an easy to apply gray block-out adhesive designed specifically to minimize air bubbles when applied to surfaces. It also has the 'control tack' feature which allows the media to sit on the application surface without sticking until pressure is applied. It is printed at a resolution of 720 dpi. HPV can be applied to any well prepared surface, and has virtually no shrinkage.

HPV has an unlaminated outdoor durability of up to 3 years; however, it has poor scratch resistance without lamination. Film lamination can be applied to HPV in order to minimize surface scratching and improve overall outdoor durability.

HPV is primarily used for longer term outdoor applications including non-backlighted awnings. It is also useful when its 'block-out' or low shrinkage properties are required, or when decals need to be easily dry-applied without air bubbles.

HPV can be contour cut by placing a specially named 'CUT' line in your file.

(VAV) Vehicle Adhesive Vinyl

VAV is a 2mil cast gloss finish vinyl with an easy to apply gray block-out adhesive designed specifically to minimize air bubbles when applied dry to vehicle surfaces. It also has the 'control tack' feature which allows the media to sit on the application surface without sticking until pressure is applied. It is printed at a resolution of 720 dpi. This product can be applied to any well prepared surface with compound angles and rivets or other surface irregularities.

VAV has an unlaminated outdoor durability of up to 3 years; however, it has poor scratch resistance without lamination. Vehicle film lamination can be applied to VAV in order to minimize surface scratching, protect against fuel spills, improve overall outdoor durability, and make the media slightly more rigid for ease of application to vehicles.

VAV can be contour cut by placing a specially named 'CUT' line in your file.

(PAV) Perforated Adhesive Vinyl

(VRV) Vehicle Reflective Vinyl

VRV is a 48 inch wide vehicle wrap grade adhesive vinyl, with a 44 inch printable width.

(CAV) Clear Adhesive Vinyl

CAV is a 3mil calendared clear gloss finish vinyl with a clear adhesive, printed at a resolution of 720 dpi. This product can be applied to any well prepared flat surface with slight compound angles having no rivets or other surface irregularities.

CAV has an unlaminated outdoor durability of up to 3 years; however, it has poor scratch resistance without lamination. Film lamination can be applied to CAV in order to minimize surface scratching and improve overall outdoor durability.

CAV can be applied to any existing white surface, including white reflective metal signs or even raw uncoated metal blanks. It can also be applied as a decal to windows for a stained glass look. Oversized signs can be printed in tiles with an overlap, but this is usually not recommended for clear vinyls as the overlaps may appear darker.

CAV is an almost perfectly clear vinyl, which makes it perfect for backlighting in front of a translucent substrate. However, we recommend you select our "backlighting ink saturation" option if the light behind the print will be intense.

CAV can be contour cut by placing a specially named 'CUT' line in your file.

(TAV) Translucent Adhesive Vinyl

TAV is a 3mil calendared translucent vinyl with a clear adhesive, printed at a resolution of 720 dpi. This product can be applied to any well prepared flat surface with slight compound angles having no rivets or other surface irregularities.

TAV has an unlaminated outdoor durability of up to 3 years; however, it has poor scratch resistance without lamination. Film lamination can be applied to TAV in order to minimize surface scratching and improve overall outdoor durability.

TAV can be applied to any existing clear or white surface. Oversized signs can be printed in tiles with an overlap, but this is usually not recommended for translucent vinyls as the overlaps may appear darker.

TAV is perfect for backlighting in front of a translucent or clear substrate. However, we recommend you select our "backlighting ink saturation" option if the light behind the print will be intense.

TAV can be contour cut by placing a specially named 'CUT' line in your file.

(RTV) Reverse Translucent Vinyl

RTV is a 'second surface' application, where your file is printed in reverse on the adhesion side of translucent vinyl so that it can be applied to the backside of windows or on clear plexi for light boxes. The finished product is a 6mil calendared vinyl, printed at a resolution of 720 dpi. This product can be applied to any well prepared flat surface with slight compound angles and no rivets or other surface irregularities.

RTV has an outdoor durability of up to 3 years.

Our "backlighting ink saturation" option can be selected for this product, but contour cutting cannot, and lamination is of course unnecessary.

Because RTV is a two step process involving the layering of two vinyls, set-up costs and linear footage costs are higher than other materials.

CAUTION: It may be difficult to tile several panels together with this product, as there is no visual reference. Also, please do not send your files in reverse as this will automatically be done when your order is processed.

(RAV) Removable Adhesive Vinyl

RAV is a 4mil removable, changeable, and repositionable calendared semi-matte finish vinyl with a grey blockout adhesive, printed at a resolution of 720 dpi. This product can be applied to any well prepared smooth, flat, dry surface.

RAV has an unlaminated outdoor durability of up to 2 years. However, it has only moderate scratch resistance without lamination. Liquid lamination can be applied to RAV, which will add 'pop' to your colours, minimize surface scratching and improve overall outdoor durability.

RAV is a good choice for applications that require excellent hiding power and removability without heat or chemicals, such as 'changeable graphics'.

RAV is not recommended for any long term outdoor applications.

RAV can be contour cut by placing a specially named 'CUT' line in your file.

(WCV) White Cling Vinyl

WCV is an easily removable and repositionable static vinyl. It is intended to be applied to the inside of windows for viewing to the outside.

Backlighting can be selected for WCV.

Please do not send your file in reverse print. We will do this for you automatically.

(CCV) Clear Cling Vinyl

CCV an easily removable and repositionable static vinyl. It is intended to be applied to the inside of windows for viewing to the outside. White is not printed on CCV so it will have a 'stained glass' look if not backed by white. If you do not want the stained glass look then please order our WCV - White Cling Vinyl.

Backlighting can be selected for CCV.

Please do not send your file in reverse print. We will do this for you automatically.

(SSB53) 53" Standard Scrim Banner

SSB53 is a 13oz semi-gloss finish opaque banner vinyl with a heavy scrim layer printed at a resolution of 720 dpi. SSB53 can be printed in tiles with an overlap so that oversized banners can be produced. This material is 54 inches wide but only 53 inches can be used for printing. If your banner will be tiled, then 1 additional inch must be allotted for tile overlaps.

SSB53 has an outdoor durability of up to 2 years and it has good scratch resistance without lamination.

We offer lamination of SSB53 by special request on large runs only. Backlighting and contour cutting options are of course not available.

(SSB72) 72" Standard Scrim Banner

This product is similar to our SSB53 product, but is 72 inches wide.

(SSB10) 10ft Standard Scrim Banner

SSB10 is a 13oz semi-gloss finish opaque banner vinyl with a heavy scrim layer, printed at a resolution of 720 dpi. SSB10 can be printed in tiles with an overlap so that oversized banners can be produced. If your banner will be tiled, then 1 inch must be allotted for tile overlaps.

SSB10 has an outdoor durability of up to 2 years and it has good scratch resistance even without lamination.

Lamination is not available for SSB10. Backlighting and contour cutting options are of course not available.

(BSB) Blockout Smooth Banner

BSB is a 14oz semi-matte smooth finish banner vinyl with a light duty 100% blockout scrim layer. One side is printed at a resolution of 720 dpi. The opposite side is available should you wish to apply adhesive vinyl. BSB can be printed in tiles with an overlap so that oversized banners can be produced. As with any banner, caution should be taken with both banner finishing and the installation so that no damage occurs to the banner or property.

BSB has an unlaminated expected outdoor durability of up to 1 year with only moderate scratch resistance. (Lamination is not available with this product.)

This product can be easily grommeted by hand. The hems for larger banners should be stitched only if they are reinforced with a heavier scrim banner material. Alternatively, we recommend not hemming at all if tear strength is not an issue, or use two-sided banner tape for the hems. (Please contact us if you are not familiar with the use of two-sided banner tape.)

BSB is perfect for all indoor banners as well as shorter term outdoor banners. It also has good 'layflat', especially when laminated, so it works great for posters and trade show signage.

NOTE: Backlighting and contour cutting options are of course not available for BSB.

(CRB) Curl Resistant Banner

CRB is made specifically as a curl resistant option for banner stands and pop up displays.

CRB is 14oz semi-matte smooth finish banner vinyl with a light duty 100% blockout scrim layer. It is printed on one side at a resolution of 720 dpi and the opposite side is available should you wish to apply adhesive vinyl.

CRB has an unlaminated expected outdoor durability of up 3 months.

CRB can be printed in tiles with an overlap so that oversized banners can be produced. However, as with any banner, caution should be taken with both banner finishing and the installation so that no damage occurs to the banner or property.

Backlighting as well as contour cutting options are of course not available for CRB.

(LMB) Light Mesh Banner

LMB is a 6oz perforated (partially see-through) scrim banner vinyl, printed at a resolution of 720 dpi. It is mainly used where the banner needs to be strong, yet light weight, or when a 'different' look than a standard banner is required. Mesh banner can be printed in tiles with an overlap so that oversized banners can be produced. If your banner will be tiled, then 1 inch must be allotted for tile overlaps. The maximum print width (without tiling) is 79 inches.

LMB has an outdoor durability of up to 2 years and it has good scratch resistance even without lamination.

(ASC) Artist's Stretch Canvas

ASC is an acid-free, textured matte finish canvas designed for long-term, fade resistant fine art or photo reproductions, printed at 720 dpi. ASC can be printed in tiles with an overlap, so that oversized prints can be produced. As with any larger print, caution should be taken with both finishing and the installation so that no damage occurs to the product or property.

This product should be permanently attached to a rigid board or frame with staples or tacks. Using glue or pressure sensitive adhesives is not recommended, as this does not prevent the material from natural environmental shrinkage over time. When the material shrinks, the adhesive may fail, causing edges to curl and possible delamination.

ASC has a high degree of water and fade resistance even without lamination, but it is not intended to be used as a long term outdoor product. Our standard liquid lamination can be selected to add 'sheen' and extra protection to the product, but it is not recommended to overlaminate with pressure sensitive laminates because they do not have complete contact with the surface of the textured canvas.

ASC is intended to be used as a mounted product, but it can certainly be used in specialty poster and banner applications.

Backlighting and contour cutting options are of course not available for ASC.
